THE FOUNDERS
Established in 2007 by Alex Hansford & Will Crocker, two University of Hull Graduates.
As Graduate Sports Rehabilitators (GSR’s) Alex and Will have been trained to treat all musculoskeletal injuries from its initial onset through to a return to sport, work or activity. In addition to sports injuries, they are trained in the prevention, assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions picked up at work, leisure and play.
OUR BUSINESS
Since 2009 we have extended our services and offer personal training, cancer, stroke and cardiac rehabilitation which are carried out in one of our two fully equipped training studios.
OUR AIM
To help every patient overcome their injury with confidence and allow a return to the workplace, leisure or sport as rapidly as possible, with full strength and fitness and a reduced risk of re-injury.
ALEX HANSFORD
BSc (Hons) BASRaT-Reg GSR REPs
Meet Alex – Specialist in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, Cancer and Stroke Rehabilitation
Alex holds a BSc (Hons) in Sport Rehabilitation from the University of Hull and is fully accredited by the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators (BASRaT). He is also registered with the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) as an Advanced Instructor, reflecting his clinical expertise in exercise prescription and injury rehabilitation.
With a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, Alex is committed to delivering tailored rehabilitation programmes aimed at restoring function, reducing pain, and promoting long-term musculoskeletal health.
In addition to his clinical qualifications, Alex is a certified PADI Rescue Scuba Diver and is currently undertaking training for his Private Pilot License—demonstrating both a commitment to safety and a calm, focused approach under pressure.
WILL CROCKER

Meet Will – Specialist in Sport Rehabilitation, Performance Coaching and MSK Injuries
Will is a BSc (Hons) graduate in Sport Rehabilitation from the University of Hull, with a strong foundation in injury prevention, recovery, and performance optimisation. As a registered member of BASRaT and an Advanced Instructor with the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs), Will combines clinical expertise with a passion for helping individuals achieve their full physical potential.
Beyond the clinic, Will brings his knowledge of biomechanics and performance to the water. He’s a qualified Senior Dinghy Sailing Instructor and Powerboat Instructor, with extensive experience coaching Topper and 29er sailors at both developmental and competitive levels.
Whether on land or at sea, Will is dedicated to building strength, resilience, and confidence through expert guidance and hands-on support.
