Injury Rehabilitation  Sports rehabilitation is an approach to the treatment of  musculoskeletal injuries whose primary aim is to enable the  patient to return to their pre-injury activities, in sport, work  or leisure, by regaining normal pain-free mobility.    Alex Hansford and Will Crocker are graduates in Sports  Rehabilitation, a relatively new concept in this country but  one with a much longer history in North America.  Their  three year vocational honours degree at the University of  Hull qualified them as Graduate Sports Rehabilitators  (GSRs), healthcare practitioners who specialise in  musculoskeletal management, exercise based rehabilitation  and fitness. In order to practice and use the professional title GSR,  practitioners must be members of The British Association of  Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRat). Representing  professionals working in the field of sports and exercise  based injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. its aim  is to ensure the highest standard of healthcare.  Sport Rehabilitators have been trained to deal with all types  of musculoskeletal injuries at every stage from its initial  onset through to a return to sport, work or activity. They  treat everyday and occupational injuries and pain as well as  sports injuries.  Hansford & Crocker provides injury rehabilitation services  covering the diagnosis and treatment of all musculoskeletal  disorders.  These often develop over time and can arise from  work or the working environment as well as through   participation in sporting and leisure activities which affect the  body’s muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and nerves.  It covers problems to the back, neck, shoulders, upper and  lower limbs including muscular problems, lower back pain,  joint injuries and repetitive strain injuries.
